Determination of the rate of relaxation of the 0001 vibrational level of the CO2 molecule in a waveguide gasdischarge structure

Abstract:
A simple modulation method was used to determine the effective rate of relaxation of the 0001 vibrational level of the CO2 molecule in a waveguide gas-discharge structure representing a metal tube with a highly reflecting coating.
