Phase conjugation of infrared radiation in atmospheric ice films
N. K. Berger, V. V. Novokhatskiĭ, S. R. Simakov
Abstract:
Ice films 1–10 μm thick were used in phase conjugation of infrared radiation. The experimental reflection efficiency was 30% at wavelengths of λ = 5–6 μm, 55% at λ = 10.6 μm, and 80% at λ = 9.28 μm. These results were obtained for cw radiation when the intensity of the reference wave was 2–6 W/cm2 and the dynamic range of the signal wave intensity was 103.
