Reversal of wavefronts of nanosecond and microsecond laser radiation pulses in fiber waveguides

V. G. Kotel'nikova, A. A. Chertkov
Abstract: An experimental study was made of the reversal of wavefronts of neodymium laser pulses of duration from 25 nsec to 3 μsec in fiber waveguides with diameters from 50 to 400 μ. The quality of reversal of spatially homogeneous and inhomogeneous beams was up to 0.9 when the reflection coefficient was up to 60%. A study was made of the feasibility of wavefront reversal in neodymium- activated fiber waveguides subjected to pulsed pumping.
