Abstract: An analysis is made of a method for determining the time characteristics of radiation. This method is capable of recording the fine temporal structure that cannot be detected on the basis of the intrinsic temporal resolution of the recording apparatus. An estimate is given of the precision of the method which depends on the parameters of the method and on the accuracy of measurement of the quantities.
