Theoretical investigation of the characteristics of an H2-HCl gasdynamic laser

I. P. Kirmusov, V. A. Levin, A. M. Starik
Abstract: An analysis is made of the flow of H2–HCl mixtures having a nonuniform vibrational energy distribution in supersonic nozzles of various configurations. An investigation is made of the dependence of the inversion characteristics of such a medium on the initial parameters and nozzle shape. It is found that the energy characteristics of these systems may exceed the corresponding values for D2–HCl–He mixtures.
