Two-photon absorption in a standing-wave field of an ion gas in a magnetic field

Abstract: The two-photon absorption line profile of an ion gas in a magnetic field is determined for an arbitrary relationship between the transverse dimensions of the optical beam and the Larmor radius. An analysis is made of the case when the magnetic field and the optical beam are not parallel.
