Distribution of wavefront "dislocations" in a laser radiation field transmitted by a fiber waveguide

S. S. Abdullaev, T. A. Akhmadzhanov, Z. T. Tashpulatov, P. Kh. Khabibullaev
Abstract: The results are given of the first theoretical and experimental investigations of the distribution of the density of wavefront "dislocations" in a coherent optical field at the exit from a multimode waveguide. A formula is obtained for description of the dependence of the dislocation density on the transverse coordinate. Experimental measurements are shown to be in qualitative agreement with theoretical calculations.
