Measurement of the gain of enthalpy stimulated scattering in the active medium of an iodine photodissociation laser

K. S. Korol'kov, A. Yu. Krylov, O. Yu. Nosach, E. P. Orlov
Abstract: A method is developed for determination of the absolute gain of transient enthalpy stimulated scattering of laser radiation by thermal waves. This method involves direct measurements of the gains of the main and secondary beams in a laser amplifier. An investigation was made of the gain of transient enthalpy stimulated scattering as a function of the pressure of the active gas mixture in iodine photodissociation lasers.
