Abstract:
An investigation was made of the optical system of a compact laser oscillator with a stimulated Brillouin scattering (STBS) mirror operated in a wide range of pulse repetition frequencies with an average power of up to 2.5 W in a diffraction-limited beam. An analysis is made of the influence of thermal distortion of the beam in the STBS active medium on the lasing efficiency.
