Abstract:
A theoretical analysis is made and experimental data are given on two-beam stimulated emission from a cw-pumped YAG:Nd3+ laser. Cophasal and antiphase oscillations of the radiation intensity in the channels were observed under conditions of small perturbations. Estimates based on rate equations were shown to be valid in an analysis of lasing regimes in a two-beam laser.
