Investigation of the thermal conductivity of optically nonlinear crystals of proustite and pyrargyrite

M. I. Golovei, M. I. Gurzan, M. V. Shtilikha, D. V. Chepur
Abstract: The results are given of an experimental investigation of the temperature dependences of the thermal conductivity of synthetic single crystals of proustite (Ag3AsS3) and pyrargyrite (Ag3SbS3) in the range 100–400°K. In this range of temperatures the thermal conductivity was due to the lattice mechanism. A slight anisotropy of the conductivity was observed.
