Possible optical neuristor logic based on self-induced transparency
V. N. Morozov, A. M. Smolovich
Abstract:
A theoretical analysis is made of the possibility of using self-induced transparency in constructing neuristor logic circuits. It is shown that under certain conditions collisions between 2π pulses result in their annihilation. This, together with other properties of the self-induced transparency effect, makes it possible to use 2π pulses as carriers of unitary information in optical neuristor circuits.
