Possible recording of Fourier holograms with an information capacity of the order of 107 bit/mm2

M. A. Maiorchuk, V. V. Nikitin, V. D. Samoilov
Abstract: A holographic method is proposed for increasing the information capacity of holograms. In this method an array of lenses performs the Fourier transformation on a set of transparencies carrying binary information. The experimental results are given and the maximum density of information in a multichannel system is calculated.
