Abstract:
Theoretical and experimental investigations were made of the energy characteristics of an exciplex KrCl lamp (λ = 222 nm) with an Ne — Kr — HCl mixture pumped by a volume discharge. The optimal, from the point of view of achieving the maximum efficiency of the emission of light, pressure should exceed 0.5 bar. A kinetic model was used to optimise the operation of the KrCl lamp.
