Abstract: An investigation was made of the influence of the cavity geometry on the output power of a transversely excited nitrogen laser. The dependences of the output power on the pressure in the discharge chamber and on the wave impedance of the voltage source were determined. The output power was 93 kW for a laser cavity whose active length was 15 cm.
