High-power ion laser with extended functional capabilities

A. A. Apolonskii, V. I. Donin, T. T. Timofeev
Abstract: A cw high-power MIL-05 ion laser is described. Its output powers are ~50W and ~10W respectively from argon ion transitions in the visible and ultraviolet regions. It has a long service life. The results are given of investigations of mode selection and mode locking of its radiation.
