Influence of summation of excitations on the efficiency of lasing of sensitized media

B. M. Antipenko, S. P. Voronin, V. F. Maĭboroda, T. A. Privalova
Abstract: Mechanisms of energy losses in laser-active media due to summation of electronic excitations are discussed and classified. Theoretical ideas are illustrated by the results of experimental studies.
