Fluctuations of the intensity of the radiation emitted by an injection laser pumped by a current subjected to strong microwave-frequency modulation

Abstract: Numerical methods were used to investigate the spectral density of fluctuations of the intensity of the radiation pulses emitted by an injection laser when the pump current is strongly modulated. A study was made of the transient correlation function of the injection laser radiation, of the transient approach of the spectral density of the intensity fluctuations to a steady value, and of the influence of the laser parameters and of the external stimuli on this approach.
