Characteristics of microwave-photon-assisted quasiparticle tunneling in superconducting point contacts

M. V. Danileĭko, V. E. Derkach, È. M. Belenov, V. I. Romanenko, A. V. Uskov
Abstract: An experimental investigation was made of the tunneling of particles in a microwave field. Depending on the normal resistance of superconducting point contacts, the tunneling could be accompanied by both absorption and emission or by just emission of microwave photons.
