Abstract: The laser output energies obtained as a result of photolysis of RI-O2(1Δg)-O2(X3g-)-Ar mixtures were determined in a comparison of CH3I and n-C3F7I as donors of atomic iodine in a pulsed chemical oxygen-iodine laser.
