Bleaching of a moving polydisperse aerosol by a laser radiation beam

V. K. Pustovalov, I. A. Khorunzhii
Abstract: A computer solution of a system of equations is used to study bleaching of a moving polydisperse aqueous aerosol by a Gaussian laser radiation beam. An analysis is made of the influence of the beam power, aerosol velocity, and its microstructure on bleaching by cw and pulsed irradiation. An estimate is made of the error introduced by using analytic bleaching models. A comparison is made with the experimental data.
