Light-induced current in a weakly ionized plasma

F. Kh. Gel'mukhanov, A.M. Shalagin
Full-text PDF (756 kB) Citations (2)
Abstract: An analysis is made of an electric current in a plasma which results from the appearance of a directed motion of ions absorbing radiation from a traveling light wave. The velocity of the directed motion is considered, and the conditions are derived under which it is maximal. The parameters of the effective current source are estimated.
