Lasers

Single-mode waveguide XeCl laser with diffraction-limited divergence

S. V. Kukhlevskiĭ, V. V. Patrin, A. S. Provorov, M. Yu. Reushev
Abstract: A study was made of the energy characteristics and spatial structure of the radiation emitted by a waveguide XeCl laser with different resonator configurations. A single-mode lasing regime was obtained with a diffraction-limited divergence of 1.3 mrad and a power of 0.3 kW in a resonator configuration with "mode filtering" for the EH11, waveguide mode.
