Control of the parameters of a laser with a switch in a compound resonator

N. N. Il'ichev, A. V. Kostesha, N. P. Kushch, A. A. Malyutin, I. V. Novikov
Abstract: A description is given of a laser with Q switching in a resonator by a passive laser switch. It is shown that control of the moment of emission of a giant pulse in a compound (three-mirror) resonator can be provided by an electrooptic switch. In this case the requirements in respect of the parameters of the switch can be relaxed considerably.
