Abstract: A shift of the Si+13 + e→Si+12 + hν recombination discontinuity was recorded in the emission spectra of glass shell targets: this shift was Δε = 100 ± 20 eV corresponding to a plasma density 1–3 g/cm3. The experimental results were compared with numerical gasdynamic calculations
