Transient emission from synchronously pumped dye lasers

A. I. Kovrigin, V. A. Nekhaenko, S. M. Pershin, A. A. Podshivalov
Abstract: A theoretical model of synchronous pumping developed earlier is used in a numerical calculation of transient emission from dye lasers and of the parameters of steady-state emission. A detailed study is made of the kinetics of establishment of the synchronous regime after instantaneous application of a continuous train of pump pulses. The calculated results are shown to agree well with experimental data.
