Formation of charge and energy spectra of multiply charged ions in an expanding laser plasma

Abstract:
It was found experimentally and theoretically that the hydrodynamic acceleration mechanism and also dielectronic recombination in the heating phase and three-body recombination in the expansion phase are well explained by the experimentally observed energy spectra of ions in an expanding laser plasma.
