Influence of a counterpressure on the operation of a CO2 gasdynamic laser emitting at 18.4 μ

Abstract: It was found experimentally that stimulated emission at λ =18.4 μ was possible in a CO2 gasdynamic laser with a supersonic stream escaping into space at a counterpressure up to 0.25 atm.
