Intracavity second harmonic excitation under the action of an external signal on a Q-switched solid-state ring laser

G. V. Krivoshchekov, V. I. Samarin
Abstract: A theoretical analysis is made of the energy parameters of the second harmonic under conditions of intracavity excitation in a Q-switched ring laser. It is shown that the proposed laser system is potentially useful under the action of an external signal which ensures unidirectional extraction of the harmonic.
