Compensation of nonlinear distortions of light pulses by an adaptive flexible mirror under different control geometry conditions

A. P. Sukhorukov, V. A. Trofimov, T. Yu. Shameeva
Abstract: An analysis is made of the formation of an optimal wavefront by flexible mirrors designed for compensation of nonlinear distortions (thermal and Kerr defocusing) of optical radiation. Calculations are made of the dependences of the compensation quality criterion and of the necessary number of drives on the ratio of the radius of action of a single drive to the initial beam radius.
