Abstract: An effective numerical method for the solution of problems modelling the dynamics of a nonlinear interaction of a photorefractive crystal is developed and tested. The criterion of strongest suppression of dynamic phase distortions is used to optimise a system with two-beam energy exchange in InP:Fe.
