Highly efficient parametric frequency conversion of light in large-aperture crystals grown by a fast method

Abstract:
A highly efficient parametric generator of near-infrared radiation was constructed. An unfocused hyper-Gaussian neodymium laser beam was used to pump ADP crystals grown by a new fast method. The output energy was several joules.
