Polarization aberrations of spherical geodesic waveguide lenses in LiNbO3:Ti

Abstract:
A theoretical explanation is given of the polarization aberrations exhibited by geodesic waveguide lenses in LiNbO3:Ti. The dependences of the magnitude of the aberrations on the parameters of the geodesic lenses are obtained.
