Abstract:
An intracavity spectrometer utilizing $F^-_2$ color centers and operating in the range 1.108–1.169 $\mu$ was developed. The spectrometer sensitivity was $\sim10^{-8}$ cm$^{-1}$ and the spectral resolution was $<0.08$ cm$^{-1}$. It was used to record the absorption spectrum of atmospheric air. All the recorded lines were due to water vapor. Transparency microwindows were found in the absorption spectrum of the atmosphere at wavelengths 1.108–1.169 $\mu$.
