Analysis of multistage dissociation of polyatomic molecules

Abstract: Simple models are used to investigate the laws governing the behavior of molecules near the dissociation limit on exposure to high-power laser radiation. It is shown that anomalous dependences of the dissociation probability on the laser radiation intensity may be observed for some molecules.
