Tuning characteristics of multistage stimulated Raman scattering by polaritons in a layer of an LiJO3 crystal

Abstract: It is shown that multistage processes can be used to increase the efficiency of conversion of light by stimulated scattering on polaritons in a layer of a nonlinear crystal. The tuning characteristics of the scattering are given for the lower polariton branch of a lithium iodate crystal for up to ten stages of conversion of pump radiation with the 1.064 μ wavelength.
