Thermal diffusion separation of gas mixtures with the aid of laser radiation

Abstract: An analysis is made of thermal diffusion processes in gas mixtures stimulated by laser radiation. It is shown that these processes may be characterized by high values of the separation coefficient. Complex dynamic regimes of thermal diffusion in a laser radiation field are revealed by the calculations. The results of an experimental study are also given.
