Investigation of the transmission of ultrashort pulses through a waveguide resonator with distributed Bragg mirrors

Abstract: An experimental study was made of the transmission of ultrashort laser pulses through a waveguide resonator with distributed Bragg mirrors. It was found that the pulses were broadened by a factor of nearly two when the transit time across the resonator was comparable with the pulse duration.
