Continuous-wave single-frequency emission from an injection laser in the form of a terraced heterostructure with an external dispersive resonator

Abstract:
A laser diode with a terraced active region was used as the active element in a laser with an external dispersive resonator. Continuous-wave single-frequency emission of radiation with an output power of 35 mW was achieved at room temperature.
