Amplification of pulsed radiation in a regenerative TEA CO2 amplifier

Abstract: The characteristics of a regenerative TEA CO2 amplifier injected with pulsed radiation are investigated numerically. It is shown that efficient amplification is possible while retaining the single-mode nature of the radiation, without stabilizing the parameters of either the amplifier or the master oscillator.
