Electron-beam-pumped multicomponent semiconductor laser emitting visible radiation

Abstract:
Stimulated emission of visible radiation was obtained from multicomponent semiconductor lasers pumped by an electron beam. The lasers operated at room temperature in a pulse-periodic regime. A cadmium sulfide laser emitted radiation pulses of 100 kW power.
