Abstract: Electromagnetic oscillations of 180 kHz frequency tunable in a range of 30 kHz were generated in a metal–barrier–metal–barrier–metal (MBMBM) structure characterized by a negative differential resistance. Such structures are potential tunable sources of electromagnetic radiation ranging from the radio to the optical frequencies.
