Frequency characteristics of a ring laser with a kinematic offset

L. S. Kornienko, N. V. Kravtsov, E. G. Lariontsev, M. R. Paleev, V. A. Sidorov
Abstract: Theoretical and experimental investigations were made of the properties of a solid-state ring laser in the case of kinematic modulation of the resonator length. It is shown that the observed characteristics can be explained only if we allow for the combined influence of the variable-sign frequency offset and modulation of the coupling between the opposite waves.
