Stimulated recombination of atoms in beams

Abstract:
An analysis is made of stimulated recombination of atoms in an electron–proton beam in a laser radiation field. An estimate is made of the current density of neutral hydrogen (deuterium) atoms which can be achieved in a nonrelativistic beam.
