Theory of coherent Raman mixing

Abstract: An analysis is made of a model of coherent Raman mixing which allows for the anti-Stokes and two Stokes stimulated Raman scattering components. A three-cell mixing system is proposed and it is shown that the infrared generation efficiency in this system, other conditions being equal, may be two or three orders of magnitude higher than that in single-cell systems.
