Abstract:
Fiber waveguides were made of As2Se3–As2S3 glasses and their parameters were investigated. The total losses in the emission region of CO lasers were 8–10 dB/m, whereas in the emission region of CO2 lasers they were 30 dB/m. The power densities corresponding to the damage threshold were 2 and 1 kW/cm2, respectively.
