Control of laser radiation parameters

Diffraction efficiency of layer transmission optics

A. V. Vinogradov, A. A. Postnov

P. N. Lebedev Physical Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow
Abstract: The efficiency of diffraction optics, in the form of transmission gratings and zone plates, in the soft x-ray range is considered. Analytic expressions are obtained for the diffraction efficiency. These expressions contain all the parameters of transmission gratings and zone plates: the optical constants of the materials, thickness, focal length, magnification, aperture angles, etc.
