Abstract:
An investigation was made of the multiphoton dissociation of CF3Br and CF3Cl molecules at high gas temperatures created by cw CO2 laser radiation. An increase in the initial temperature made it possible to increase the multiphoton dissociation yield and to ensure efficient multiphoton dissociation even of those molecules whose linear absorption bands were detuned slightly from the frequency of the exciting laser radiation.
