Characteristics of stimulated scattering in opposite pump beams

B. Ya. Zel'dovich, V. V. Shkunov
Abstract: A theoretical analysis is made of stimulated scattering in opposite pump beams. A condition for suppression of stimulated scattering by a weak opposite pump wave is determined. The threshold conditions for parametric generation of opposite Stokes and anti-Stokes components are found.
