Experimental investigation of fluctuations of the laser radiation intensity in the atmosphere

S. S. Gasparyan, R. A. Kazaryan, R. G. Manucharyan
Abstract: The distribution laws and the variances of the fluctuations of the intensity of the laser radiation in the atmosphere were determined experimentally. The influence of the finite size of the receiver aperture on such fluctuations was investigated. The reported measurements were carried out over a 25-km atmospheric path above ground with a complex relief.
